Sonoma County Animal Services is seeking an experienced candidate to become their next Animal Shelter Supervisor!
The Animal Shelter Supervisor develops and implements policies and procedures to manage daily shelter operations at the Sonoma County Animal Shelter. This position oversees all aspects of sheltering held animals including, but not limited to, care and feeding, veterinary treatment, temperament assessment, behavior modification/enrichment training, and animal placement. The position will also be responsible for all animal care staff, including supervising six Animal Health Technicians and five Animal Care Assistants, and working directly/closely with the veterinarian (contractor).
