Maintenance Worker I/II
Description
Background
The City of Citrus Heights is seeking two Maintenance Worker I/II’s to staff the City’s new Beautification Crew assigned to the General Services Department. The General Services Department provides engineering services, administers all public works contracts and capital improvement projects, and operates and maintains the City’s public infrastructure, including streets and roads, sidewalks, medians, trails, creeks, open spaces and greenbelts. The City’s General Services Department is a non- traditional public works department in that many of the services are provided through outside contracts. For the purposes of this recruitment, the Maintenance Worker I/II positions will be responsible for helping improve the overall appearance throughout the community through proactive blight abatement efforts, as well as supporting the divisions overall maintenance needs.
