An Ultrasound Tech is a Diagnostic Ultrasound Professional that provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography.
