The EKG Technician is a member of the patient care team who performs a variety of tasks and activities to meet patient and department needs consistent with the scope of practice for an unlicensed practitioner. This position is responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms and holter monitors. This position also performs scheduling coordination and office duties which include the use of computers, fax machine and telephone.
