Under general supervision, the Instrument Technician performs a variety of skilled tasks involved with the installation, maintenance, and repair activities for process instrumentation, recording instruments, communications and telemetering systems, control systems, and distributed control system equipment related to water distribution systems, lift/pump stations, water treatment facilities, and hydropower facilities. The current job opening is within the Wastewater Maintenance Division. Additional openings may be available during the next 1 to 2 years in both Wastewater Maintenance Division and Facilities Maintenance and Construction Division.
