Schedule surgical procedures, maintain all required surgical elements, and review OR case schedule on a daily basis
Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to surgery scheduling
Schedule consults/appointments after APRN review
Maintain OR schedule/SRO
Ensure all required elements are present for surgery scheduling
Preop telephone calls
Post discharge telephone follow up
Telephone triage
Assist providers in clinics
Assist with maintaining environment of care and survey readiness for clinical areas
Expert knowledge of community care guidelines including Mission Act and any other VA directive for community care
Expert knowledge of services offered by vascular services
Expert computer and telephone skills
Other duties as assigned to ensure all surgery specialty consults are answered timely and correctly
