The Podiatrist provides medical and surgical care for patients of all ages for foot, ankle, and lower leg medical conditions in the ambulatory clinic setting. The podiatrist makes diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and referral for consultations as indicated. This position is an integral part of the health care team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, clinic support staff, pharmacy, laboratory, dental, behavioral health, and other outpatient support departments.
