Working under the Principal Civil Engineer and Senior Civil Engineers within the Design Engineering Section of the Public Works Department, the Engineer I/II performs professional level engineering work related to the planning, design, and construction support of civil engineering projects; preparation of construction plans for the annual citywide programs and various Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. The incumbent will ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations and local ordinances.
