We are seeking a Health Education Specialist (Community Outreach) responsible for providing advocacy, outreach and educational presentations with the goal of promoting physical, mental, spiritual and social health in vulnerable populations in the South Bay and Centinela Valley service areas. The Health educator will use appropriate strategies and methods to facilitate health promotion and disease prevention in health education courses such as, but not limited to: GOAL diabetes self-management program, Creating Healthier Attitudes Today, FEAST, Diabetes Prevention Program and/or Mental Health First Aid.
