Research Analyst
The Research Analyst will provide research and administrative support to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Maternal Child Adolescent Health Division (MCAH)- funded Maternal Infant Health Assessment (MIHA), an annual population-based survey of people with a recent live birth. This position involves critically reviewing and summarizing a wide range of research information and published literature related to maternal and child health. The ideal candidate also will assist in the production, review and finalization of MIHA survey materials. With guidance, the ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and dissemination of MIHA results via data tables, graphs, figures, PowerPoint slides, issue briefs and written reports. Additionally, the candidate will support day-to-day operations of MIHA as needed (e.g., scheduling and documenting project related meetings, coordinating travel, maintaining websites and reimbursements). The candidate will provide assistance with technical aspects of survey design and data collection, as needed. The position requires someone with either a lived experience with issues of diversity or experience working on issues of health equity.
