We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our collaborative team as a Research Assistant in clinical and translational research. In this role, you will work closely with the PI and Clinical Coordinator, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in dermatological research. Your responsibilities will include: * Identifying patients: Utilize our advanced electronic medical record system and collaborate with the dermatology clinic to identify eligible patients for our studies. * Informed consent: Assist in obtaining informed consent from participants, ensuring their understanding and comfort throughout the process. * Skin imaging: Capture high-quality skin images using state-of-the-art photography and reflectance microscopy techniques, enabling precise analysis and evaluation. * Biopsy support: When necessary, you may have the opportunity to assist physicians in performing skin biopsies and processing skin tissue for reflectance microscopy or single cell dissociation. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining meticulous records of your activities, organizing valuable data and files, and ensuring accuracy at all times.
